76 players registered for the 2 Kiwanis 2 Person Scramble Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, 22 August. On a rainy early morning 76 players showed up to play and celebrate Kiwanis 100th Anniversary. This year we had many teams from Calais and as far away as Sussex.  Carol would personally like to thank all the Kiwanis members, including a Key Club member and a few friends who showed up, helped set up, made food, cooked, sat in the rain and the heat. Without all of these people, our day would not have been the great success that it was. The Kiwanis Club would like to thank the St. Stephen Golf Course for going above and beyond to help with this event. Without you and your wonderful staff continuing to accommodate us each year, this event wold not be what it was on Saturday. The comments from out of towners and across the border stated the course was in fantastic shape. Carol stated that the positive feedback she received on Sunday for 15 different people via text, facebook, phone calls and e-mail was greatly appreciated. People really get and understand what supporting your local service club is all about and with community support like D=Saturday, what we can do for our community.
